Get a phone number for your studio

   Open settings in the sidebar and choose phone. The Phone page shows the monthly price of Perch Phone and the one-time setup charge for texting.

   Only an owner or admin can set up Phone. If phone is missing from settings, ask your studio's owner.

   Choose Get Perch Phone. It opens your billing page, where you confirm the monthly charge; then come back to Phone.

   Perch Phone is billed monthly, and calls are part of it. Check the price shown before you confirm.

   Under Choose your number, enter an area code, search, and choose Use this number beside the one you want. Wait for the message that your number is live.

   If setup stops partway, choose Finish setup for the same number rather than picking another.

   To text clients, choose Register for texting on the same page and complete your studio's details. Carriers review it, which usually takes a few days.

Worth knowing

• Calls ring the Perch app on every phone signed in to your studio.
• Texting needs its own registration. A live number alone does not let you text clients.
