How to
Export your business data
Export supported business records as JSON and spreadsheet-ready CSV, in a combined archive or one part at a time.
- 1
For a combined export, open 'your data' in Work settings and choose 'prepare a full export'. It builds the supported parts in the background and emails you a download link.

Exports are scoped to the active business. Switch businesses first if you run more than one.
- 2
The archive has one folder per included part, holding that part's own export unchanged. Read the root manifest for parts that failed, exceeded the size limit, or were unavailable to your account, and each folder's manifest and README for record and attachment exclusions. Download needed attachments and resolve missing records before closing the workspace.
You get the parts you administer. Anything your access doesn't cover, and anything too large to travel in one zip — years of receipt images or signed PDFs — is named in the manifest rather than silently dropped.

For one part only, use that part's own export instead — it downloads straight away. The same 'your data' page links every one of them.

Use the relationship IDs supplied by each export; there is no customer ID shared by every part. In Work, join custom-field values.fieldId to field definitions.id, values.taskId to tasks.id, and projectId to projects.id. Customer-bearing records can link by customerId where that field is supplied.
Worth knowing
- The full export's download link lasts 7 days and needs you signed in. If the email never arrives, the link is on the 'your data' page too.
- You keep full export access during the 30-day window after scheduling a workspace deletion — export first, then close, in either order.
- Admin access is required; members don't see the export cards.
- Accounting exports from invoices & payments include CSV and a QBO journal file.
