Alder

For specialty retailers

Your shop,
in one catalog.

Run the counter, the stockroom and the web store from one catalog. Sales, stock, customers and purchasing stay together, so the details behind every product are there when a customer asks.

01 / The catalog

The product you buy
is the product you sell.

Its supplier, cost, price, variants and stock history stay on one record, and the register and the online store read that same record.

One catalog, wherever you sell

The register and online store read the same product record. Update a price or a product detail in one place.

Every stock change, recorded

See what is on hand and the movements behind the count. Receive deliveries and make stock adjustments with a record of what changed.

Customer history

Keep contact details, past sales and conversations together. Find the customer’s history without digging through an inbox.

02 / On the shop floor

The counter,
in your pocket.

Ring up a sale, check what’s on hand and see the day’s takings from your phone, without going back to the register.

Tap to Pay on iPhone needs a supported iPhone and a connected payment account, and it isn’t available in every region.

03 / Stock & purchasing

From the supplier
to the next sale.

Stock moves when you receive, sell or adjust it, and every movement is recorded against the product.

01

Give every product a home

Build your catalog with SKUs, variants, suppliers, costs and prices. Set the stock minimums that matter to your shop.

02

Sell with the stock in view

Ring up counter sales and keep web orders alongside them. Completed sales update inventory and become part of the customer’s history.

03

Watch what runs low

Give each item a reorder point and see what has fallen below it, and what is already on order.

04

Buy what you need next

Review purchase orders by supplier and receive the goods against the order as they arrive.

Before you start

A few things you
might be wondering.

Does it work at the counter and online?

Yes. The register and the online store read the same catalog, so a price or a product detail is changed in one place.

Can I take cards?

Yes, through your own payment account. Until it’s connected, the register takes cash and checks. Tap to Pay on iPhone needs a supported iPhone and isn’t available in every region.

What about rentals, consignment or repairs?

Alder has optional trial, rental, consignment and repair workflows. Use the ones your shop offers; the everyday catalog, stock and customer records work the same either way.

What does it cost?

Alder has no listed price yet. We look at your catalog, where you sell and what you’re bringing with you, then give you a price.

How do we get started?

Email us and tell us how you sell, stock and reorder. We’ll look at your shop with you and show you where the catalog, checkout and purchasing meet.
